Sosandar Fashion Catalogue & Social Media Shoot in Mykonos

DragonFly supported Sosandar during a four-day fashion catalogue and social media shoot in Mykonos, providing local production support across location scouting, permits, schedule planning and on-set execution. Based on the creative mood board, we researched and shortlisted suitable locations, then built the shooting schedule around the natural light of each spot at different times of day, while also avoiding heavy tourist traffic from cruise ship arrivals. Our role also included sourcing photography and clothing equipment, coordinating transport and runners, arranging catering, and supporting the production with COVID-19 safety measures throughout the shoot.

The main challenge of the project was coordinating a multi-day fashion shoot on an island while keeping the production visually consistent, properly equipped and on schedule. Location scouting had to respond closely to the mood board, while the daily shooting plan had to be built around the light conditions of each location and the practical reality of Mykonos crowds, especially the tourist waves created by cruise ship arrivals. At the same time, photography and clothing equipment had to be sourced and delivered to Mykonos, transport had to be arranged for the team, and on-set support needed to run smoothly across changing shoot days and setups. COVID-19 measures added another operational layer, requiring extra planning and discipline throughout the production.
