Oceania Cruises Commercial in Mykonos

Commercial production support, location management and helicopter filming

Overview

DragonFly supported The Producer’s Lounge during the Oceania Cruises commercial in Mykonos, providing local production support for a fast-moving shoot across multiple locations in Mykonos Town. Within a seven-hour shooting window, we coordinated two production units, handled location management and permits, supported the shooting schedule, arranged local crew support and delivered helicopter footage of the ship at sea.

Challenge

The main challenge of the project was coordinating two production units across multiple Mykonos Town locations within a very tight seven-hour shooting window. The schedule had to stay efficient while transport, permits, local logistics and on-set support all moved in sync. On top of that, helicopter filming added another layer of timing and coordination, since aerial capture of the ship had to fit precisely into the day’s production flow.
